to the Western Australian Gelbvieh
Society Breeders' website.
In WA, there are 10 full members of
the society and three commercial
members and while we are just a
small group, the dedication the
breeders have in maintaining the
very best of what the Gelbvieh breed
has to offer in a commercial
environment is outstanding.
In WA, the Gelbvieh breed is rapidly
growing in popularity with the last
few bull selling seasons
demonstrating high demand for good
quality Gelbvieh bulls.
We have also been home to national
success in recent times with a
Gelbvieh steer from the Glendale
Gelbvieh stud, Serpentine, taking
out the national title for champion
carcase at the 2009 Rockhampton Beef
week.
The Gelbvieh breed is very much on
the rise in WA and we urge you to
